Kent R. Jones is Director of Operations for Defensive Countermeasures Institute, LLC. His expertise is derived from over 30 years of combined military and federal government service. As a former member of the United States Army Special Forces, he actively participated in numerous personally hazardous missions executed to counter treats to human life and property at military and diplomatic installations spanning five continents of the world. Kent has also served the US Department of State as Manager for Battalion Training with the African Crisis Response Initiative. During his four-year tenure with the ACRI, he managed joint-military/civilian mobile training teams preparing African soldiers for peacekeeping duties and complex humanitarian relief operations throughout sub-Saharan Africa.

His academic achievements include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management. He is a graduate of the Regional Security Officer Course administered under the direction of the Bureau of Diplomatic Security, US Department of State in Washington, D.C.
