•    Four-Phased Approach to Personal Security & Situation Awareness
DCI Instructors introduce participants to subtle, lifestyle changes that focus on the four phases of security awareness.  Participants are exposed to unique skills developed to recognize threats well in advance of becoming victimized. 

•    Hands on Self-Defense Measures
DCI Instructors demonstrate self-defense movements designed to counter personal assaults from unarmed assailants.  Participants are afforded the opportunity to practice techniques with a DCI Instructor and receive immediate feedback on proper application as a point of reinforcement. 

•    Observation and Awareness - Identifying Distinguishing Features
Participants are exposed to tools and techniques used to identify physical characteristics of persons of concern or inquiry. These tools aid follow-on investigations into suspicious activities or criminal acts. 

•    Aids to Recognizing Aggressive Behavior
Participants are introduced to useful tools and techniques that are effective with identifying aggressive behavior, anxiety and impatience.  Workshop participants learn valuable skills used to Diffuse Confrontation and Avoid Escalation. This course is extremely beneficial to workers who come in direct contact with the public.
